How to password-protect files and folders on hard disk

I have always found this as a problem since I shifted to Windows XP as there is no option in the OS to password protect files on the hard disk. I discovered Axcrypt recently. After you install this, everytime you right click, there is an option to encrypt as well decrypt files and folders on your hard disk. The best thing is that this software is free. Go ahead and try it.
